Can you help us?We want to make more quizzes but need your HELP!We have been so pleased with the response from the visitors to our website we would very much like to make many more, unfortunately there are many subjects we know little or nothing about but maybe you do!
What do we need from you?
Answer: - A lot of your time and effort, not to mention skill and knowledge.
We believe that everyone has at least one good quiz in within them, after all each of us has a unique set skills and knowledge base and interests, why not share it with others?
What’s in it for you apart from work, work and more work?
Err…. Basically nothing, however there will be part of the internet which will have your unique stamp on it, not to mention your name and location on every page of the quiz. As you may have realised after you completed the quiz you almost certainly know something now that you didn’t before, in other words they are educational, so if you create a quiz you will help educate every participant of the quiz.
How many people will use your quiz?
Answer: - No idea! But over 3,000 visitors a day visit this site now from over 50 different countries and We only built it a couple of months ago! (It was well worth the effort just to now this).
What should the quiz be about?
Answer: - Almost anything, e.g. science, fishing, your favourite sport, geography, pop music, history, trivia, plants, nuclear physics, coin collecting or any other hobby, in fact anything as long as it contains nothing which could be offensive to some of the quizzes users.
What do we need from you?
Each quiz will be in the same format as the one you just successfully completed. We need a total of 84 questions for each quiz you can find the time and drive to complete. Questions need to be of a multiple-choice format with the right answer clearly marked and three wrong answers. A question may be made harder or easier buy how wrong the wrong answers are, e.g. - Who was the Queen of England in 1893? Victoria, William, Fred or Bill.
If you didn’t now the correct answer to that question before, you do now right? (No it was not Queen Fred!).
What we need from you: -
1) A short title for the quiz e.g. Plant Biology Quiz.
2) The name the quiz should be accredited to e.g. Colin James – London England.
3) The age range the quiz is suitable for e.g. 13 to 17, or 17 plus
4) A short description of you quiz e.g. A simple biology quiz mainly dealing with plants and their structure.
5) 12 very easy questions.
6) 18 easy questions.
7) 30 medium questions.
8) 18 hard questions.
9) 6 very hard questions.
10) E-mail your quiz to: - webmaster@carols.org.uk please include your email address so we can inform you when the quiz is online and it’s URL (web address).
All questions must have four possible answers one of which (the correct one) must be clearly marked as correct. The difficulty level of the question must also be made clear.
